Epic Water Filters Review
Epic Water Filters sells pitcher and faucet filters. We found no NSF, IAPMO or WQA listing for the Epic Pure pitcher we review (checked September 13, 2026).
Epic Water Filters: Low Running Cost, No Certification Listing
Epic Water Filters doesn't have the brand recognition of Brita or the marketing budget of Clearly Filtered. What they have is a $45 pitcher marketed for PFAS reduction. We found no NSF, IAPMO or WQA certification listing for the Epic Nano pitcher (checked September 2026). By contrast, Brita Elite and PUR Plus are both listed under NSF/ANSI 53 for lead.
The hollow fiber membrane in the Nano filter provides a physical barrier to bacteria and protozoa in addition to chemical filtration — an unusual capability for a pitcher filter. The 150-gallon filter life is better than most pitchers in its class. The main limitation is brand awareness and retail availability — Epic Nano is primarily sold online, not in grocery stores.
