iSpring: The Best Value in Under-Sink RO

iSpring's RCC7 series is a low-cost under-sink RO option, with excellent DIY installation documentation and a $219 price for the base model. We found no NSF, IAPMO or WQA certification listing for the RCC7 (checked September 2026). The brand has had 15 years to refine their product and support structure, and it shows in the consistency of the systems and the quality of the installation guides.

The trade-off is that iSpring is a traditional tank-based RO system — with the space requirements, installation complexity, and wastewater ratio that implies. For renters or households without under-sink access, AquaTru is the alternative. For homeowners who can install: iSpring's 5-year total cost (system + filters + installation) is low for the under-sink category.
